William Horwood is an Englishnovelist who has written sequels to "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame and has also been responsible for the novels Skallagrigg , The Stonor Eagles , and , the most famous of his works , the "Duncton" series of books , allegorical tales about a community of moles.
