Wilhelm Maybach
Wilhelm Maybach (February 9 1846 - December 12 1929) was a German car-engine and automobile constructor and industrialist. He was born in Heilbronn, Germany and died in Stuttgart.
Maybach was the major collaborator with Gottlieb Daimler throughout the late 19th century through their development of the first internal combustion powered vehicles.
In 1909 he left the Daimler company to manufacture his own luxury vehicles. See Maybach (marque).
