Viennese waltz
Viennese waltz is a category of ballroom dance, consisting of several versions of the waltz, including the earliest waltzes done in ballroom dancing. As the waltz evolved, some of the versions that were done at about the original fast tempo of ballroom waltzes came to be called "Viennese waltz" to distinguish them from the slower waltzes.
As opposed to typical waltz which can be between 60-80 bpm, Viennese Waltz music (such as the well-known "On the Beautiful Blue Danube") is typically in the range of 120-180 bpm.
