L. Victor Allis is a Dutch computer expert who works to find better ways of developing artificial intelligence. He hopes to accomplish this by discovering methods of solving "thinking games": in his graduate work, he revealed solutions for Connect Four, Qubic, and Gomoku. He is currently working for Bolesian, a knowledge technology firm in the Netherlands.
