Universidad del Norte is the most important educational center in northern Colombia. Founded in 1966, it offers a wide range of career paths, including Industrial, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical Engineering, as well as Medicine, Business Administration, Psychology, and several other faculties.
It is also an important cultural center.
