United Liberation Front of Assam
The United Liberation Front of Assam is a secessionist organisation established on April 7, 1979. It has been banned in India. It aims to "liberate" Assam through armed national liberation struggle from the clutches of the "illegal" occupation of India and to establish a sovereign independent Assam.
By its claims, the movement is not secessionist as Assam was never a part of India. It has been illegally occupied by India.
On January 10, 2004 it blew up a pipeline belonging to ONGC in Assam.
