Under the Volcano

Under the Volcano is a 1984 film which tells the story of the alcoholic British consul in a small Mexican town at the verge of World War II. It stars Albert Finney, Jacqueline Bisset, Anthony Andrews and Katy Jurado.

The movie was adapted by Guy Gallo from the novel by Malcolm Lowry. It was directed by John Huston.

It was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Albert Finney) and Best Music, Original Score.
