UNPO

The Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation (UNPO) was founded on February 11, 1991. It claims 53 member groups, which in turn claim to represent more than 100 million people.

Note: In spite of the 'UN' in its acronym, UNPO is not related to the United Nations organization.

En nombre del Partido Nacionalista de Puerto Rico les escribo para dar a conocer a la UNPO el caso colonial de Puerto Rico y para ser miembro. Nuestro método de lucha es la resistencia activa NO violenta y la no cooperación con el imperio. Puerto Rico fue invadido por los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica el 25 de julio de1898, habiendo perseguido, masacrando y violando derechos a los independentista puertorriqueños e incluso engañando a la comunidad internacional con el invento llamado Estado Libre Asociado en el 1952, curiosamente el 25 de julio con el propósito de que se olvidara la invasión.

I would like to know exactly what the UNPO is? What is its mission and some of its actions? Also how in the UNPO involved at the UN?
