Trillion
The term trillion can mean more than one thing:
- In Canadian, the Greek language, and American usage, one trillion equals 1,000,000,000,000, or 1012, or one million millions. Britain and Australia traditionally used the European version, but have recently largely switched to the U.S. usage.
- In traditional European usage, one trillion equals 1,000,000,000,000,000,000, or 1018, or one million million millions.
