Tobago
Tobago is an island in the southern Caribbean Sea, part of the nation of Trinidad and Tobago.
Tobago has a land area of 300 km2 (116 mi2), and is approximately 42 kilometers long and 10 kilometers wide. It is located at latitude 11°N, longitude 60°W, slightly north of Trinidad. The population is ca. 50,000. The chief city is Scarborough, with a population of about 17,000.
The climate is tropical, and the islands lie just south of the Atlantic hurricane belt. The islands get about 200 centimeters of rain a year, and have a two-season climate: the rainy season is from June through December, and the dry season is January through May.
