I've worked in a planning environment using MRP via a AS400 IBM system and intergrated a capacity and schedule plan on EXCEL spreadsheets. I',m currently job hunting as I have been made redundant, and in nearly every job vacancy they are looking for people with experience in SAP. Firstly, what does SAP stand for? And were in a manufacturing/p planning dept. is it advantageous and fits in?
