Sam Farr
Sam Farr (born July 4 1941), American politician, has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1993, representing the 17th District of California. He was born in San Francisco, California, was educated at Willamette University, Santa Clara University, and the Monterey Institute of International Studies, served in the Peace Corps, and was a staff member of the California Assembly, a member of the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, and a member of the California Assembly before entering the House.
