SAS
SAS is a TLA (three-letter abbreviation) with at least four interpretations:
- Scandinavian Airlines System: Scandinavian airline, with the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish governments as the largest shareholders.
- Special Air Service: British special forces group, originally a paratroop unit, but now one of the world's best known counter terrorist units.
- Serial Attached SCSI: A protocol and physical interface for transporting SCSI over serial links which is compatible with the SATA physical interconnect.
- SAS Institute, software company.
