Royal Logistics Corps

The Royal Logistic Corps is a British military unit that provides the logistics for other units in the British military.

History

The Royal Logistic Corps was formed in 1993, by the union of the Royal Corps of Transport, the Royal Army Ordnance Corps, the Royal Pioneer Corps, the Army Catering Corps, and the Postal and Courier Service. There are many volunteer regiments within the Logistic Corps, including transport regiments, ambulance regiments, and other related logistic units.

This unit's battle honours were inherited from the Royal Corps of Transport, which inherited its honours from the Royal Army Service Corps. These honours include: Peninsula, Waterloo, Lucknow, and the Opium Wars.
