Réjean Ducharme (born August 121941) is a French-Canadiannovelist and playwright who currently resides in Montreal, Quebec. He is extremely reclusive and has not appeared at any public functions since his first sucessful book was published in 1966. A common theme of his work is the rejection of the adult world by adolescents.
