Psion
Psion PLC is the British company mostly known for developing the pioneering Psion Organiser as well as a whole range of more advanced, clamshell-design Personal Digital Assistants:
All these PDAs have a small keyboard, which in all but the Organizer's case is of the standard QWERTY layout.
Psion was established in 1980, and during the first three years developed games and utilities for the early home computers such as the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Some of the software was released by Melbourne House.
The company Symbian was spun off in June 1998. Psion itself has since then largely abandoned the enduser-market, and concentrated on equipment for mobile data-aquisition, heavy-duty, and industrial environments.

In high energy physics the Psion is a meson, now normally called J/Psi to reflect its independent discovery and naming by two groups of scientists in 1974.
Also, someone who works with psi, in addition to any unknown, mysterious, or supernatural energy force.
