Prall's Island
Prall's Island is an unhabited island in the Arthur Kill off the western edge of Staten Island, New York in the United States. It is part of the borough of Staten Island in New York City.
The island is named for the Prall Family, which grew hay on the island in the 19th century. The island is now owned by the City of New York. It is maintained by New York City Department of Parks and Recreation as bird sanctuary.
