Pidgeotto
Pidgeotto (Pidgeon in japanese) is a Stage 1 normal-type Pokémon that evolves from Pidgey at level 18 and further evolves into Pidgeot at level 36. Pidgeotto usually possesses a large territory, with its nest built in the center; it constantly patrols its territory, searching for prey that it attacks and carries back to its nest with its sharp claws. Pidgeotto fiercely protects its territory by pecking at any intruder it comes across.
Availability
In Pokémon Red/Blue, Yellow and Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal, Pidgeotto can either be obtained by evolving Pidgey or on a number of routes. In Pokémon Sapphire/Ruby, Pidgeotto is not available at all.
Strengths / Weaknesses
Pidgeotto is vulnerable to Electric, Ice and Rock, and strong against Grass, Ground, Bug and Ghost.
