Perry Gladstone Christie (born 1944) is the Prime Minister of the Bahamas. He became PM in 2002 when his party came to power in parliamentary elections and is only the country's third. He is also leader of the Progressive Liberal Party. In 1984 he quit the party in disgust at the culture of bribe-taking.
