Paul Kariya
Paul Kariya (born October 16, 1974) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is a professional ice hockey player for the Colorado Avalanche.
He was drafted by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft and currently plays left wing.
Paul Kariya had a career year in the 1995-1996 season when he scored 50 goals and earned 108 points. In 2003 he helped lead the Mighty Ducks to the Stanley Cup finals.
Kariya and former teammate Teemu Selänne both signed as National Hockey League free agents on July 3rd, 2003, with the Colorado Avalanche.
