Pancharatna Krithis

The Pancharatna kritis (Sanskrit pancham, five + ratnam, gem) are a set of five famous Carnatic songs from India. They were composed in Telugu1 by Saint Tyagaraja, one of the composers in the Trimurti of Carnatic music.

Jagadaanandakaarakaa (Raga Nattai)

In this song, Tyagaraja is in all praise for his lord Sree Ramachandra. He eulogizes Ramachandra as one who is the cause of all bliss in the Universe. This is the only kriti that was composed in Sanskrit.
