Northamptonshire
Northamptonshire is a county in central England .It has borders with Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Peterborough, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire. The name is abbreviated to "Northants", and the county town is Northampton. In 1991 the county had a population of 578,000.
The Soke of Peterborough was historically associated with Northamptonshire.
