Morden tube station

Morden tube station is a London Underground station in Morden in the London Borough of Merton. It is the southern terminus for the Northern Line, and is the most southerly station on the Underground. The next station along is South Wimbledon. It is in zone 4, and is also the site of Morden Depot, which trains reach by continuing south from the station platforms and passing under the road.

Morden has the distinction of being at the end (or the start) of one of the longest tunnels in the world (17.25 miles - about 28 Km) - the Northern Line's tunnel between Morden and East Finchley. There was originally an arrow here to match the archer at East Finchley, but this was stolen shortly after the station opened.
