Meeuwen-Gruitrode is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. On January 1st, 2002 Meeuwen-Gruitrode had a total population of 12,543 (6,449 males and 6,094 females). The total area is 91.39 km² which gives a population density of 137.25 inhabitants per km².
