This is an alphabetical list of notable male television actors from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland. The list includes also male actors from other countries who have played leading. co-leading roles, or prominent supporting roles in North American, British or Irish television films or series. Actors who only have had minor appearances in television films or series are not considered television actors and are not included in this list.

A certain number of actors of this list are also well-known because of their roles in motion pictures, and are therefore included in both, this list and the list of movie actors.
