Keith Jarrett
Keith Jarrett (born May 8, 1945) is considered among the most important living jazz piano players. He has produces a series of solo albums of live concerts in Paris, La Scala Milan, Vienna, Tokyo and other places. He has also worked in groups with Arvo Pärt, Jan Garbarek, Gary Peacock, Jack DeJohnette and Miles Davis.
He also plays classical piano, harpsichord, clavichord and organ. He has recorded a number of well-received classical albums, including works by Bach and Shostakovich.
Jarrett has a reputation for eccentric perfectionism; he is known to make frequent emotive vocalizations while playing. Jarrett's manager, Steven Cloud, is one of the more colorful figures in music production.
