Jools Holland

Jools Holland (b. January 24, 1958) is a British pianist, TV presenter, architectural eccentric and pop music dilettante.

A founder member of the band Squeeze, which he left in 1980, he presented TV music show The Tube and now Later with Jools Holland, plus an annual New Year's Eve "Hootenanny".

'Later with Jools Holland' is distinguished from otherwise similar television music shows, thanks to the jam session involving all of his invited guests, along with Holland on piano, at the beginning of each programme. Holland often also accompanies his guests' performances.

Singer Sam Brown often joins his touring band, The Rhythm And Blues Orchestra.

Holland lives in the Westcombe Park area of Blackheath in south-east London.
