East-West Line (Singapore)

The East-West Line was the second MRT line in Singapore. The line is currently 45.4km long with 29 stations, and is operated by SMRT Corporation.

As the name implies, the line connects central Singapore to both western Jurong and the eastern coast of the island, with an additional branch to Changi Airport from Tanah Merah. Cross-platform transfer to the North-South Line is provided at Jurong East, City Hall and Raffles Place. Outram Park station acts as an interchange for the North-East Line.
