Ealhmund

Ealhmund (c. 758 - 784 or 786), also known as Alckmund of Wessex, was Sub-King of Kent and father to King Egbert of Wessex.

The historical evidence is very slight; there is a charter of 784 mentioning Ealhmund, and the 784 entry of the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle mentions Eahlmund as father of Egbert but this is very tenious.
