The fictional Drones Club, located in Dover Street, London, (where a real London Club, the Arts Club, was and is based) was created by P. G. Wodehouse and features in many of his Jeeves and Wooster and Blandings stories. A drone is a bee or ant that does no work, which aptly describes the attitude toward labor held by most of the young men who are members of the Drones Club.
