County Cavan
County Cavan (Irish Gaelic: An Cabhán) is a county in the Republic of Ireland, part of the province of Ulster. It was created by Elizabeth I of England. The county is surrounded by County Leitrim, County Longford, County Meath, County Westmeath in the Republic, and County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland.
The county town is Cavan. Other settlements include:

The township of Cavan, Ontario, Canada was named after County Cavan, from which its settlers had emigrated.
