Corbridge

Corbridge is a town in Northumberland, England. Known to the Romans as Corstopitum, this was the most northerly town in the Roman Empire, lying at the junction of Stanegate and Dere Street.

The town lies above the River Tyne, and beyond the extensive Roman remains, boasts the Vicar’s Pele, a fourteenth century pele tower.
