Cop Rock

Cop Rock was a very short-lived Steven Bochco television series on the ABC in 1990. It was an unsuccessful effort to combine the police drama (which Bochco had been very successful with earlier with Hill Street Blues) with musical theater.

The series produced widely divergent opinions. Many consider it to be the worst television series ever produced. Others regard the series as sheer genius. ABC went with the show's poor ratings and was quick to end its run.
