Cochrane, Ontario

Cochrane, Ontario is a town situated in the world's longest street Yonge Street (originally Highway 11), and the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located E of Kapuskasing, NE of Timmins, S of Moosonee, and N of Iroquois Falls.

The communities that surround Cochrane are Gardiner.

A road connects to the station of the Northern Ontario Railway which heads north to Moosonee.

It is the birthplace of Tim Horton, which is a hockey player that founded its first Tim Hortons donut and coffee shop in Hamilton, Ontario in 1964.
