Christo (born June 131935 as Christo Javacheff in Gabrovo, Bulgaria) is an artist famous for wrappings of objects and buildings, as well as environmental art. This is called installation art. He works with his wife and partner Jeanne-Claude. Some of his famous works include the wrapping of the Pont Neuf in Paris with white cloth and his display of fabric strung across many kilometres in California.
