Chicago Loop
The Chicago Loop is a portion of the downtown of Chicago, Illinois containing the financial district, the Art Institute of Chicago, and many architectural and artistic landmarks, including a large outdoor sculpture by Pablo Picasso installed there in 1967. The area is so named because the Chicago El train lines form a loop around this portion of downtown, running along Lake Street on the north, Wabash Street on the east, Van Buren Street on the south, and Wells Street on the west.
