Cedar Lake

Cedar Lake is a lake just west of the northern end of Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada. Cedar Lake's water level is controlled by the Grand Rapids dam. The town of Grand Rapids and the First Nations town of Easterville are nearby.

Cedar Lake runs approximately from 53 to 53 1/2 degrees north, 101 and 99 degrees west. The lake is known to have excellent examples of prehistoric amber fossils.
