Carl Laemmle

Carl Laemmle (January 17, 1867—September 24, 1939) was a founder of Universal Pictures, one of the original major Hollywood movie studios. Carl Laemmle Jr. (April 28, 1908—September 24, 1979) (his son) was President of Universal Studios.
