Bernhard Hammer
Bernhard Hammer (March 3, 1822 - April 6, 1907) was a Swiss politician.
He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on December 10, 1875, and handed over office on December 31, 1890. He was affiliated with the Free Democratic Party. During his time in office he held the following departments:
He was president of Switzerland twice, in 1879 and 1889.
