Batuan Masbate is my home. It is where i grow up. It is a very small town actually but people know each other very well but there is a primary, elementary and high school there where important people gruaduated and became experts in their fields in big cities around the world. Batuan is the first town in Ticao Island because it is very near to Masbate province but in terms of income i guess it is the fourth since it is only small compare to San Jacinto, San Fernando and Monreal but very accessible when going to Masbate City. Batuan is a small town located in the southend part of Ticao Island, Masbate. It is 1 of the progressive barangays of San Fernando, Masbate before, & thats the reason why Batuan acquired a municipality status separated from San Fernando. The Poblacion is situated by the bay in Ticao Pass facing Capul Island of Northern Samar.
