Ashanti Douglas (born October 13, 1980) popularly known simply as Ashanti is a pop music artist in the United States. She was born in the state of New York. She has won several popular music awards around the world. Her first pop music single was "Foolish", which contains an interpolation of Notorious B.I.G.'s rap song "Once More Chance."
