As Good As It Gets
As Good As It Gets is a 1997 film which tells the story of an obsessive-complusive, cranky writer who forms a relationship with a waitress who is a single mother. It stars Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Greg Kinnear, Cuba Gooding Jr., Shirley Knight, Skeet Ulrich and Yeardley Smith.
The movie was written by Mark Andrus and James L. Brooks, and directed by Brooks.
It won Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Jack Nicholson) and Best Actress in a Leading Role (Helen Hunt). It was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Greg Kinnear), Best Film Editing, Best Music, Original Musical or Comedy Score, Best Picture and Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen.
