Arthur Greenwood

Arthur Greenwood (1880-1954) became deputy leader of the Labour Party under Clement Attlee with Winston Churchill appointing him to the Cabinet as Minister without Portfolio in 1940. Unfortunately he resigned in 1943 and his political role gradually declined until his withdrawal in 1947.
