The plant Arizona Queen of the Night, Night blooming cereus, Reina de la noche (latin Peniocereus greggii, also called Cereus greggii), has a 6- to 9-edged stem about 1/2-1 inch wide. Its flowers are white, up to 30 cm in size and scented like vanilla. It opens after sundown and closes and wastes after a few hours. It originally comes from Arizona (USA) and Sonora (Mexico).
