All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku
All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku is a six-episode anime series created in 1992.
In the show Kyusaku, an inventor, implants the brain of his son, Ryu's, cat into an schoolgirl android body that he has stolen from his ex-wife's company, Mishima Heavy Industries, to produce Cat Girl Nuku Nuku, a nekomusume (猫娘), or cat girl.
Plots were generally concerned with the custody battle for the son, between the inventor and his ex-wife, often involving amusingly larger-than-life battles between Nuku Nuku and military hardware produced by Mishima Heavy Industries.
A DVD release is available of the series in the United States, distributed by ADV Films. A dubbed version was previously available in the United Kingdom on VHS featuring regional accents, but is now out of print.
