Affixation

Affixation occurs when a Bound morpheme

attaches to a Root morpheme.

Types of Affixes
Prefix:	morpheme+root
example	undo
Suffix:	root+morpheme
example	runing
Infix*:	root+morpheme+root
example	absofrigginlutely
circumfix**:	mor+root+pheme
example	gesprecht
*English infixes only exist in exclamatory cunstructions like the example given
**English circumfixes do not exist, the example given is the german form for "spoken"
