Adams County, Washington
Adams County is a county located in the State of Washington. Its name is in honor of the second President of the United States, John Adams. As of 2000, the population is 16,428. The county seat is at Ritzville.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 4,998 km² (1,930 mi²). 4,986 km² (1,925 mi²) of it is land and 12 km² (5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.25% water.

The racial makeup of the county is 64.96% White, 0.28% Black or African American, 0.68% Native American, 0.60% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 30.69% from other races, and 2.75% from two or more races. 47.07% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
