Adam Walsh
Adam Walsh, the son of reporter John Walsh, was abducted from a Florida Sears at the age of five.
His head was found in Hollywood, Florida on August 10, 1981. No one has been proven to have committed the crime, although one man has repeatedly confessed and retracted. The kidnapping prompted his father to create the TV show America's Most Wanted and helped spur the formation of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
