Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Ella Wheeler Wilcox (November 5, 1850October 30, 1919) was an American author and poet. Her best-known work was Poems of Passion, and her autobiography, "Literary Confessions of a Western Poetess" was published in Cosmopolitan magazine. She is frequently cited in parody collections (Pegasus Descending, others)

i have a antique dresser w/ mirror that belonged to the author ella wilcox. it is from her cottage on the connecticut shore. my great uncle bought the cottage in the early 1900's. the contents were left and our family has been using it since- if any one is interested in purchasing this wonderful piece of history, please e-mail me or call me at 860-562-9285 rich goslee

THis is a very old book given to my grandmother from my Grandfather. It doesn't have a date of print or any date for that matter, It's a beautiful suade leather with POEMS OF ELLA WHEELER WILCOX acrossed the top in 3 lines, Very simple, on the spine it says what has been mentioned and then has too added with pencil drawings by Alice Ross. The pages are sewen in. Would you have any idea the value of such a book? My Grandfather wrote in a date of Dec, 1918. Any ideas? Pleas let me know if you discover any info on it, I would really appreciate it! Peggy Creager
